For me, photographing football is about more than just capturing the action; it's an endeavor to portray the essence of the field, ground, or stadium through careful observation. When working with medium format analog photography, I deliberately embrace a slower pace, which I find rewarding. It compels me to approach each shot with focus and precision, allowing the images to stand on their own. In an era dominated by digital immediacy, this method is a conscious attempt to slow things down and reconnect with the game's raw beauty.

I’m drawn to places where I can move freely, where the game retains a sense of purity and tradition. Italian Serie C clubs and similar grounds hold a special place in my heart, untouched by the commercialization that has transformed much of modern football. These venues reflect a different side of the sport—one that speaks to the deep-rooted culture and the unique value football brings to communities around the world. Ultimately, my passion lies in capturing that cultural essence, where football remains a powerful force for connection and identity.
