“Photographing a Galatasaray derby in Istanbul, whether it's against Fenerbahce or Besiktas, is an experience that goes beyond football—it’s a day when the entire city pulses with energy. From the moment you step into the streets, you can feel the electricity in the air, with chants filling every corner as fans flood towards Rams Park. The red and yellow of Galatasaray paint the city, a vivid reminder of the club's deep roots. Inside the stadium, the atmosphere is electric, and the passion of the supporters reaches a boiling point. My aim is to capture the raw emotion and unity that defines these derbies, where football becomes a powerful expression of identity, pride, and fierce rivalry, transforming the match into a cultural phenomenon.”
